2010 Information
During the fair week, there will be a grandstand attraction each night. The Demolition Derby occurs on both Saturdays of the Fair this year! For details on each event, see rules and guidelines at the bottom of this webpage. Tickets to Saturday Demolition Derby’s are $8/adult and $4/child, under 12 yrs. Events Sunday through Friday will be $5/adult, $3/child, 4-12 yrs, with children 3 and under FREE! Purchase a Grandstand Weekly Pass, which covers ALL nights in the Grandstand for only $25 per adult and $15 per child (4-12 yrs.) Grandstand Weekly Passes will be available for purchase in the Fair Office. The 4-H Watermelon Relay and the WYGS Gospel Worship Band & Choir Competition are free admission, with free will donations accepted.

TUESDAY: Linda Lee and the Noble Creek Band – sponsored by KORN Country 100.3 – Your New Country Leader - Linda Lee & the Noble Creek Band will entertain you with music that keeps you dancing. You’ll dance to the Rock’n 60’s cover sounds of Hang on Sloopy, Mustang Sally, That’ll Be the Day, Proud Mary, and Great Balls of Fire. You’ll enjoy the Rock’n Country sounds of Can’t Even Get the Blues, I’m Here for the Party or It Happens’. WEDNESDAY: WYGS Gospel Worship Band & Choir Competition - 7 p.m. Free Admission into the Grandstand – Donations will be split by the three finalists’ church of choice. WYGS will be teaming up with the Bartholomew County Fair to find the best local church choir or gospel group. All demos need to be mailed or dropped off to WYGS, and a group of judges will determine three finalists. Entry deadline for demos is 5pm on June 28. These finalists will compete for a plaque and bragging rights as the best local gospel group. The event is free to the public, but donations are encouraged. All donations will be split between the churches of the three final groups or choirs. Listen to WYGS for more details. Further information will also be posted on www.bartholomewcountyfair.com.
